About 50 Bodies Found in Bosnia Rubbish Dump

IVAN POLJE, Bosnia Forensic experts in Bosnia said on Saturday they had found the remains of about 50 bodies at a site where a local Serb said Muslims had been killed by Serb forces in 1992.
Amor Masovic, the head of the Muslim Commission for Missing Persons, said the remains were found at the Ivan Polje meadow, which has served since Bosnia's 1992-5 war as a local dump eight km (five miles) from the eastern town of Sokolac.
Masovic said that according to the testimony of a witness, 37 of the victims were believed to be Muslim men from the village of Novoseoci, separated from women and children on September 22, 1992 and taken away.
